One of the more popular summer features in Ewing Park, the Veterans Memorial Swimming Pool is open to the public from June 7th 2025 until Labor Day from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The pool is 164 feet long, 64 feet wide, and 3-8 feet deep. There is also a baby pool and spacious lawn to sun bathe. Veterans Memorial Pool deck house offers men and women’s locker rooms, showers, and restroom facilities. Life guards patrol the premises and also offer swimming lessons.

Surrounding the entry, decorative pavers complement an information kiosk maintained by the Lawrence County Conservation District.  At the entrance to the building you can also see two new stone benches that were constructed from large stones taken from the former Ellwood City Ledger building.

Rain Policy

If it is raining between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m., we will not open the pool. The weather will be re-evaluated between 2 and 3 p.m. for a 3 p.m. opening.
